Nov. 26 (UPI) — The Ethiopian government announced Thursday that armed troops would be taking “final action” in Mekelle, the capital city of the country’s northern Tigray region, and urged civilians to stay home.As more than 40,000 refugees flowed into Sudan from Tigray, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed Ali said a final ultimatum to the Tigrayan People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) had expired.
