IRROB would like to express heartfelt condolences to the family of H.E. Prime Minister of Ethiopia, Meles Zenawi, and to the peoples of Ethiopia who have been bitterly mourning the loss of their beloved and most admired visionary political leader, who unselfishly and tirelessly worked for his country to eliminate poverty and to change the image of Ethiopia in the world.
The untimely death of the Prime Minister has brought a great shock and profound sorrow on the entire peoples of Ethiopia who have been expressing their bitter griefs from coast to coast since they learned of his passing away. The Prime Minister has proved with his death how much he was loved and highly respected by all nationalities of Ethiopia for his visionary leadership; for the developments he accomplished; and for the double-digit economic growth that Ethiopia has been continuously registering during his terms as a prime minister.
Not only Ethiopia that lost a great leader in Meles Zenawi but also Africa that lost its staunch advocate and strong spokesperson in varieties of issues affecting the continent. Certainly, Meles has died like any other human being; but his visions for Ethiopia and Africa will remain for ever!
