His Holiness Abune Antonios, the Patriarch of the Orthodox Church of Eritrea has passed away. He has been in detention since 2006. Detaining a patriarch besides of being a taboo is unheard of in Eritrean history. It’s a mark of shame & disgrace. May He rest In Peace. pic.twitter.com/BMaBAYobSB
